As Undergraduate applications to join Makerere University for the academic year 2015/2016 proceed, the Confucius Institute (CI) invites applicants for the B.A. Social Sciences and the B.A Arts programmes, College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUSS) to study Chinese language as one of the subjects.
Benefits include an opportunity to visit China for one year after your Bachelors degree among others.
Chinese language short courses
The CI will conduct Chinese language lessons this holiday from 8th June to early August for both day and evening classes according to the fees schedule below.
- Mak Students and Staff - UGX 120,000
- Students on S6 Vacation - UGX 120,000
- General Public - UGX 220,000
The Annual Summer Camp
The CI will take part in the Annual Summer Camp in China for two weks starting from 17th July to 1st August 2015
All students on short courses at CI or Mak degree programmes with Chinese language as one of their subjects are eligible to attende the Annual Summer Camp in China.
